DESIGNING STAMPS 1

This is how it's works:.
After receiving the contract from the Post Office,
I can start with the order.

I start by making different sketches.
From there I start working on the Master.

Then I begin to set up the stamp outlines of the stamp
with a pencil, wich are needed to scale everything.

After the outlining I begin to fill in the drawing
with different black pencils, pen & ink.

The color will be set on paper.
In this case I use color pencils and pastels.

The next step is to put in the background with my air brush.
After that I add the small details and the finishing touch
with black pencil, pen & ink.

After scanning the design in my computer I make the total lay-out,
including the text, which is put on the stamp.
Then the finished product goes to the Post Office for approval.
Afterwards the stamp is sent to the printer where the final product is made.
My Idea and design is now permanently set on paper.
