SCULPTURES 10 "W.I.M."

W.I.M.
A sculpture made in order of my passed away father-in-law W.E Wauben.
As long as I was working on my sculptures Wim asked me to make some sculptures for him,
to put them in his garden.
My passed away wife Paulie and Wim together with my new girlfriend Elsa know about this
special sculpture "Nobody has to know" was Wim's phrase.
"One day my garden will be full of your sculptures".
As long he could walk he came regularly to my workspace and looked how far I was with "his"
sculpture.
We changed the sculptures shape a lot in the passed time but he told me a few weeks ago,
"Go ahead and finish my sculpture".
He told me months ago "John, I have a name for it"
W.I.M. (his first name) but meaning "World in Motion".
It's to the point, because he traveled a lot and was a man who brought the world here
on Curacao, really in motion.
Wim I kept my promise to you and finished the sculpture a few weeks after you left us.
This sculpture carries your name forever.
Thank you for the last contact the night before you passed away. Rest in peace Wim

John
